Description
A blend of two Duchesse De Bourgogne brewed with Belgian cherries and aged in oak barrels;
Appearance
Ruby red beer very clear with a white/pinky head not very persistent;
Aroma
The classic aroma of vinegar that characterizes the Duchesse de Bourgogne is covered and softened by an intense, fresh and pleasant cherry aroma;
Mouthfeel
Medium-low body with a medium carbonation;
Taste
A pleasant sweetness and the good sourness are perfectly balanced together creating an excellent contour to the taste of cherry that persists in the aftertaste. Bitterness not present;
Personal opinion
Despite not having perceived the oak neither in the nose nor in the mouth, this beer is really good, a cherry bomb made much more pleasant thanks to the strong softening of the intense acetic notes of the sister Duchesse de Bourgogne.
